This beautiful book is divided into four sections discussing such things as native & immigrant flowers, historical observations & wildflower enthusiasts, seasonal flowers in each regions of the U.S., and the country's changing landscape. The hundreds of photographs are spectacular & the illustrations are beautifully rendered. This is an amazing collectible piece of Americana. :)

This very large, heavy book is bound in fine printed linen cloth over boards w/ a slight yellowing at the spine (pic 10.) Damage is to the slipcover only (pic 9), pages are in excellent condition.
